Overview

At Founders Workshop, I held the pivotal role of Director of Product Development, where I led and transformed the product development process. My tenure was marked by the successful launch of numerous projects across a range of industries, each tailored to drive client success and enhance user experiences.

Key Contributions and Achievements

Process Architect:

Designed and documented a comprehensive D1-D5 product development process, encompassing everything from client onboarding to post-launch support.

Lean Project Management:

Implemented feature-focused, lean project management techniques that reduced costs by up to 90% and maintained a 100% client continuation rate for project development and support.

Dashboard Development:

Created an AWS QuickSight dashboard that provided real-time insights into PNLs, resource allocation, milestones, and overall company health, integrating data from Jira and QuickBooks.

Financial Oversight:

Managed the project portfolio's PNL, establishing key OKRs, analytics, and financial forecasting to preemptively identify and address project risks.

Documentation Standardization:

Streamlined documentation procedures, allowing team members to contribute effectively and creating a cohesive approach to product development.

Cultural Development:

Fostered a team-centric culture with transparent goals, deliverables, and timelines, accessible to all through lucid, large-scale project blueprints.

Technical Leadership:

Oversaw complex server architecture changes, database parsing in high-security environments, and ensured comprehensive technical documentation.

Client Relations and Advisory:

Acted as a business and technology advisor, often stepping in as an interim CTO for startup clients, guiding them through critical technology decisions.

Project documentation process

At Founders Workshop I created a seamless process for documenting projects through living lucid charts where each team member played a role in capturing project information - ensuring the entire team is aware of the entire project's intent.
